Kate and Helen Richardson-Walsh look ahead to Rio Olympics

Team GB hockey duo Kate and Helen Richardson-Walsh are currently in Rio preparing for their fourth Olympic Games.

The married couple, who both play club hockey for Reading, helped GB to bronze in London four years ago and have defied the odds to earn selection for the games in Rio.

GB captain Kate, 36, reversed her decision to retire from the sport in 2014, while 34-year-old Helen has undergone back surgery on two separate occasions in the last 12 months.

Kate's heroics at London 2012 - playing with a metal plate in her face just five days after breaking her jaw - earned her plenty of media attention, as did her relationship with Helen.

The pair readily admit that 2016 has been one of the toughest years of their respective careers and in this candid feature they discuss their lives, both on and off the hockey pitch.

Click on the video above as Kate and Helen look back at their careers and look ahead to Rio.
